Grove Hill Sport Horses is intentionally operating on a limited basis and is not currently accepting new full-training or lesson clients.

Current services focus on thoughtful sport horse development, select sales opportunities, horse shopping, and individualized consulting. All horses and projects are considered on a case-by-case basis to ensure they align with GHSH’s standards, expertise, and available capacity.

Services

Sport Horse Development

GHSH focuses on producing confident, rideable, and marketable hunter/jumper sport horses through correct fundamentals and thoughtful long-term development.

Services may include:

​

  • Professional riding and development

  • Flatwork, rideability, and confidence building

  • Preparation for the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings

  • Show preparation and campaign planning

  • Development of horses intended for future sale

  • Evaluation of training needs and realistic progression

 

GHSH is best suited to quality horses with clear potential, appropriate temperaments, and realistic development goals.

Availability is extremely limited.

 

Sales Representation & Consignment

GHSH selectively represents quality hunter, jumper, and sport horses for sale.

​

Representation may include:

​

  • Horse evaluation and pricing guidance

  • Development of a realistic sales strategy

  • Professional riding and show preparation

  • Sales photography and video coordination

  • Advertising and inquiry management

  • Communication with prospective buyers and trainers

  • Trial coordination

  • Support through the sales process

Full consignment may be considered for horses that are safe, marketable, accurately represented, and appropriately priced.

​

Consignment and sales representation are accepted only when GHSH believes its involvement can materially improve the horse’s preparation, presentation, market reach, or likelihood of a successful placement.

​

GHSH does not accept high-risk rehabilitation projects, horses with undisclosed behavioral or veterinary concerns, or horses whose owners are unwilling to price them according to the current market.

 

Horse Shopping & Buyer Representation

GHSH provides individualized support for riders and owners searching for an appropriate hunter, jumper, equitation, or sport horse.

Services may include:

​

  • Defining horse and rider requirements

  • Reviewing advertisements, records, and videos

  • Communicating with sellers and agents

  • Evaluating prospective horses

  • Coordinating trials and pre-purchase examinations

  • Assessing suitability, marketability, and resale potential

  • Supporting negotiations and purchase logistics

The goal is not simply to find an impressive horse. It is to identify a safe, suitable, and enjoyable long-term match with realistic training and ownership expectations.

Domestic and future international sourcing inquiries are welcome.

Limited Coaching & Consulting

Limited coaching and consulting may be available when the opportunity aligns with GHSH’s current schedule and focus.

​

This may include:

​

  • Independent training-plan consultations

  • Horse-and-rider evaluations

  • Show preparation and occasional coaching

  • Sales and development strategy

  • Program and horse-management consultation

  • Guidance for owners navigating training, leasing, or sales decisions

 

GHSH is not currently offering a traditional lesson program or guaranteed weekly coaching schedule.
